Help to facilitate more multi-family housing in areas of exclusionary zoning (single-family on larger lots). Create mixed-income developments where feasible. Allow homeowners to build Accessory Dwelling Units.

Housing types need to minimize impervious surfaces, be designed with rainwater used for any nondrinking water such as laundry, toilet flushing, car washing, garden and shrubbery watering allowing potable water for cooking, drinking and related activities. Retrofitting of existing housing may be required to achieve sustainability.
