Continue to maintain the Souderton Borough Community Park. The "Concerts Sundaes" that are offered each summer are outstanding! The new playground equipment that was installed in addition to the maintenance of the property is amazing. This is a wonderful location for all to gather in the community.

I agree with Nancy that a great asset of MontCo is our existing parks. Green Lane Park is one of the largest parks in the region with over 20 miles of trails for all levels, 3 lakes, and so many amenities. The County recently invested in an amazing effort to engage the public to develop a long-range Green Lane Park Master Plan. It was completed in January 2024 but still sits in draft status. We need to make this investment worthwhile and follow through on this multitude of ideas for conservation and recreation.

The reason many folks move to Montgomery County is because of our amazing parks. Updating some of the established parks to make them more assessable to those with disabilities should be considered. Every resident deserves to be able to enjoy our parks. We must continue to actively preserve as much open space as possible. Both the physical and mental health of our residents depends on it.
