Please read the report on the structure. It is in such poor condition, not all of it could be accessed. It is full of hazardous materials. Major demolition of the interior structure would need to be completed to make it re-useable. Even the parking lot was called out having remanent structures underneath which would need to be renewed. The county and Norristown has other priorities which need to be considered over "repurposing" this structure in any way. Not everything can be saved. The dollars already spent and will be spent trying to come up with ideas for this property are wasted.
The county already has the building down on the SRT which our tax dollars paid to fix up and it not being used. I would encourage the county elected officials and government solve for properties they already have. Otherwise you are just throwing good tax dollars after bad,
