Concerns about high density housing and the management of water, wastewater and stormwater. High density housing requires water to be plumbed in and wastewater and stormwater to be plumbed out making high density housing reliant on others for occupancy. No water management means the inability to be used for housing. Prior to approving high density housing water supply requirements need to be verified, preferably on the real estate being developed. Likewise wastewater and stormwater management requirements need to be verified preferably on the real estate being developed. Water, wastewater and stormwater management delegated offsite puts additional and sometimes unmanageable requirements on others resulting in environmental impacts such as drought, flooding, etc.
Sounds like an excuse to ruin the county without addressing the real causes of the explosions in interest rates and the inflation that caused the housing prices to rise rapidly.
