Renai Cardillo2 years ago Wambold Road (Towamencin Twsp & Franconia Twsp) has become a well-traveled and highly engineered road. Sadly, Schoolhouse Road in Franconia Township is now a hazardous route! As development continues on Schoolhouse Road, traffic is increasing every year and there have been no improvements to this road. The highly dangerous curve at Cassel Road and the blind intersection of Lower Road are creating treacherous conditions.I have personally requested evaluations by both Penn Dot and Franconia Township, each entity stating the road is the responsibility of the other, and consequently, no improvements are being made. A school bus provider is located on Schoolhouse Road, and a major waste disposal company as well as a high school are all routed to Schoolhouse Road via Lower Road. This particular area deserves the attention of our county leaders to evaluate for traffic signalization, possible widening and the softening of the curve, especially as the 309 Connector nears completion.
