Montgomery County seeks your input on how our community should utilize the Opioid Settlement Funds
Montgomery County is set to receive eighteen (18) disbursements over an eighteen-year period, totaling nearly $59.7 million (averaging ~$3.73 million per year) from the National Opioid Settlements. These funds are earmarked to combat the opioid epidemic and support those affected by this crisis. To date, the County has received three (3) disbursements, which are currently funding eight (8) projects.
The funds must be used for activities outlined in Exhibit E - List of Opioid Remediation Uses. All survey answer choices are directly based on this document, which you can review here.
