
PRO Housing Grant Application
Montgomery County invites your feedback on a draft application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant funds. PRO Housing funding supports communities which are actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing. Montgomery County works closely with its municipalities to encourage housing affordability and intends to apply to HUD for funding to support activities that may remove barriers and increase the production of affordable housing throughout the county.

Comment period for PRO Housing Grant application for Montgomery County
Montgomery County is pursuing funding for programs to reduce barriers to housing affordability through HUD's Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant.
Applicants for the PRO Housing grant must hold a 15-day public comment period and one public hearing on their application, to ensure that the community has a chance to participate in applying. The draft application will be uploaded here at the beginning of the comment period.
The public comment period will run from September 30 to October 14, 2024. Starting on September 30, you will be able to submit comments on this draft application on this Engage Montco page.
The public hearing was held virtually on the evening of October 8, 2024 at 6 pm. The presentation from that event is posted below.
