Laura Michaels2 months ago Recently learning about the proposed mega-data center project in King of Prussia/Upper Merion Township, I realized that my residence, in Upper Dublin would be “downwind” of that data center, as would every MontCo township to the east of Upper Merion, to some degree. This realization made the issue hit much harder and closer to home, and I believe that every MontCo county needs to be aware of the data centers being proposed and constructions to areas west, which fall in the area from which winds would move to deliver dangerous pollution from data centers to our townships. I recently learned, on the PennEnvironment website, in a flyer about the dangers of gas-powered leaf blowers, that Montgomery County has the highest air pollution of all Pennsylvania counties. We can not afford more air pollution if we want our county to thrive. Data centers should be banned in all of MontCo. Politicians repeatedly sell out Pennsylvania’s health, well-being and land values to corporate interests, and I for one am sick of it. Fracking should be a case in point. People’s well water went bad, their properties unsellable, their health harmed. We can not just bow to the highest bidders and expect to have our health and properties intact.

Meryl Gerner2 months ago Many people in my building have stopped driving because they don't feel safe trying to get out onto the road.Many times when I wanted to make a left, I have to make a right and make a left into our other facility, Gloria Dei Manor, and make a u-turn in their driveway and make a right to go in the direction I wanted to go in the first place. That's not always easy either. Although traffic may let me in to make a right, I need to be in the far lane to make a left and u-turn at Gloria Dei Manor, and I can't always get in the far lane. When I'm trying to make a left into Gloria Dei Manor, now I'm blocking traffic behind me to wait until there's no traffic coming so I can make a left into Gloria Dei Manor's driveway.Very frustrating and dangerous. Please time the lights better at Huntingdon Place and Terwood Road.Thank you for your time and consideration.

Kaitlyn C2 months ago There are increasing concerns nationally of Flock or similar "Automatic License Plate Reader" type cameras being placed and used inappropriately. These structures capture more than just license plate data - they can do face recognition, bluetooth signal capture, and can track location history in a searchable database. This data has broad potential for misuse. We should consider banning these in places where a simple camera would suffice such as parks and trails, or ban them entirely.
